Another successful day! I think I’ve CASS under control. Took my lunch into WW. Had the three meals and no snacks.  Didn’t weigh in this morning.  Yesterday I made Indian Cauliflower  Stew and Vegetable barley soup. The frig and freezer are full of pre-cooked meals. It’s been a successful week!

Five Day into ETL

No, chocolate or salty snacks, one beer after at PLT with the members of the Fred Scot Society after our meeting. Eating three meals and no snacks. Yes, I feel good. My mind has switched I told feel the cravings!

Friday evening was telling the habit no more. Usually after getting home from my long work week and walking and feeding Miss Fiona, I head for PLT for a pint (or two) and a supper. Not yesterday! My habit told me I was to, but I said no. It was a victory. But it wasn’t actually hard at all. I realize I am reprogramming my brain. I do have a meeting in a little while for a meet up and will have one beer,

Got a half hour walk in this morning. Need to establish that habit. I’ve been a 182 for the last three mornings. Cooking Carries recipe for Cauliflower Indian Stew. I have on the stove also some barley and vegetable soup on. Each breakfast has been oatmeal and fruit.

Lunches have been ‘Hale to the Kale’ salad or a green smoothie.

To give myself more encouragement and to be sure I have them for GMHG, I am ordering today, two PV kilts in Malcolm tartan from USA Kilts in my target sizes.
Three inches smaller in my waist from where I am, today! LOL!

WOW!

Dropped two& ½ pounds, yesterday and 6 ½ from Monday when I got back on ETL!

The cravings for salty snacks and chocolate is gone. I’ve had one beer, last night with friends at Park Lane Tavern (PLT).

I have one beer in the fridge. A Gaelic ale from the Highland brewery in Ashville, NC. It will stay there until the six weeks are over. I’ll have a beer with my buds when I am out with them. And then only one. No alcohol to be drunk at home. At the end of the work week I can go out for one beer, if I am so inclined.

I am feeling great. Slightly euphoric I would say. Amazing what a whole foods plant diet does for you.

Vital Statistics

A new start. My goal is to lose 20 pounds in six weeks. Hopefully down 3 inches off the waist and a body fat of 15%. Goal date is June 6th. CASS avoidance, ETL diet, and exercise.

Weight - 184.5
Chest - 42
Waist - 41
Hips -  40
Body fat % - 24.5

CASS HAS HOLD OF ME

I'm getting back on the wagon! My Goal is to get to 165 in six weeks from my weigh in this morning. But first I need to go to bed. I am so tired of the roller coaster.

Why can't I stay with the program? I feel so much better when following ETL/

Back on the wagon the last two weeks. Avoiding CASS with a few set backs. I am exercising on the Gazelle and hit the Bowflex. Feel much better. Lost couple of pounds and 1/2 inch. Keep plugging!

Woohoo! Weighed in at 180!

After work with temperatures in the 50s I took a 30 minute walk.

L - Zesty veggies with brown rice, apple
D - Sauted collards & onion, grilled portabello mushroom on WW round, dried cherries

OK, tomorrow is Burns Day and I am celebrating with the Scottish Society!

Working day at Wally World. Steel cut oats for breakfast. Took in for lunch black beans & rice and an apple. Got home to watch the playoffs. Had popcorn. Thanks to my sister, I now pop the corn in a lunch bag in the microwave. Eat them plain.

For supper ate a Boca burger on a whole wheat round, with mustard and sliced pickle. Later had steamed collards, a bunch. A few dried cranberries was dinner. Well Sharon found some pistachios so I ate them. Feeling a little stuffed.

No, chocolate, salty snacks or alcohol for 6 days.
